Landscape design can complement and anchor a building into its surroundings, whether practical, aesthetic, horticultural, environmental or a combination of all of these.

Landscaping projects have included:

  • A sensory garden within the grounds of a care home, intended to stimulate residents through the use of sight, sound, scent, taste and texture. Hard landscaping included raised beds to elevate planting to wheelchair height and provide impromptu seating.
  • A garden outbuilding with green roof to screen and blend the building with the planting.
  • A sunken garden to create privacy and maximise planting space, with a water feature to screen road noise.
